Walk of Faith
This dog was born on Christmas Eve in the year 2002. He was born with 2 legs – He of course could not walk when he was born. Even his mother did not want him.
His first owner also did not think that he could survive and he was thinking of ‘putting him to sleep’. But then, his present owner, Jude Stringfellow, met him and wanted to take care of him.. She became determined to teach and train this little dog to walk by himself..
She named him ‘Faith’.
In the beginning, she put Faith on a surfboard to let him feel the movement.
Later she used peanut butter on a spoon as a lure and reward for him for standing up and jumping around. Even the other dog at home encouraged him to walk. Amazingly, only after 6 months, like a miracle, Faith learned to balance on his hind legs and to jump to move forward. After further training in the snow, he could now walk like a human being.
Faith loves to walk around now. No matter where he goes, he attracts people to him. He is fast becoming famous on the international scene and has appeared on various newspapers and TV shows. There is now a book entitled ‘With a Little Faith’ being published about him. He was even considered to appear in the movies.
His present owner Jude Stringfellow has given up her teaching post and plans to take him around the world to preach that even without a perfect body, one can have a perfect soul‘.
In life there are always undesirable things, so in order to feel better you just need to look at life from another direction.

Faith is the continual demonstration of the strength and wonder of life.
“信念”出生于2002年圣诞节前夕，出生时就只有三条腿，两条正常的后腿和一条萎缩的前腿，这条萎缩的前腿后来也被兽医切除。“信念”小时候只能躺在地上，用两条仅存的后腿推着身体移动，连狗妈妈也觉得它是弱者而不想喂奶。
“信念”的第一个主人曾考虑要把这只小狗人道毁灭。幸好，现在的主人Jude Stringfellow愿意领养照顾它，认为“既然上帝只给它两条腿，它就能用两条腿活下去”， Jude Stringfellow 决定训练他，让他站起来行走，并给他起名叫“信念”
刚开始的时候，Jude 将“信念”放在冲浪板上让他体验运动的感觉。尔后Jude开始用勺子盛着花生酱放在他前面鼓励他，让“信念”尝试站起来；连“信心”的其他同伴也鼓励他让他站起来行走。
不可思议，六个月以后，发生了奇迹！
“信念”学会了用后腿保持平衡并且跳跃着前行，后来进一步在雪里训练他，他竟然可以像人类一样自由行走。
“信念”喜欢上了用两条腿走路，不管在哪里，他总是吸引人的目光。很快这只两条腿的狗成了明星，出现在各种报纸和电视新闻上。他的事迹也被写成一本书《with a little faith》甚至将之拍成电影！
如今他的主人推迟了进一步训练并带着他去全世界鼓励更多的人，让世人都明白，即使没有健全的身体，但是我们可以拥有健全的灵魂。
在我们一生中，不顺心的事十有八九，如果我们不开心想抱怨想放弃的时候，我们可以从另一个方向来看看我们的人生。
我真诚的希望“信念”的故事，能给大家带来全新的思考方式，让我们心怀感恩的面对美好的日子。
